Anders,

There's detail about this thermal protection on the TomsHardware site,
which goes into what the thermal protection is good for and what it
isn't.

TomsHardware has pretty much the worldwide reputation of being the most
exhaustive tests, and is completely objective. Having dealt with "IT
journalists" professionally over several years, I'm not convinced that
most of them use the same amount of rigour ;-)
