Perhaps both Mark and Paul should keep logs of when they try to connect and whether it is successfull or not ... does anyone know of an automated tool to do this? Then the statement "whenever you want" can be proven to be untrue .... if BTI don't have the lines available or the capacity to authenticate the login then you cannot connect whenever you want.

I don't think it's clever at all.....they say connect "as often as you like" and clearly that is a lie!  Even if I only connected for 10 mins every time there's no way they let me connect, disconnect and re-connect constantly during the day.

Do they say anything like terms and conditions apply?

technically, it isn't a lie, it's very cleverly worded. it doesn't say you
can connect for as LONG as you want.
