For those of you about to embark on installing kms of
CAT5e
cable, the following tool may be of interest to you.
It's
supposed
to take the chore out of cutting back boxes for sockets
and switches.
It claims to cut through most brick and blocks. Obviously concrete
is
no go, and engineering grade bricks will dramatically reduce
its life. Heavily cavitated bricks also cause problems as the
guide
rod can wander off course.
I
haven't used it yet as I don't have a rotary stop drill (that's next) so
I can't comment on its performance. Once I've used it, I'll
probably
do a review for Mark's site.
No connections with Screwfix
etc......
