Not sure if anyone is interested, but I have an unused Orinoco Silver Card that I am looking to get rid of. Ideally I would like to get some cheap wired cards that work with ePODs in return. According to www.un-wired.co.uk the silver card is 103 quid plus VAT and DBAS have the following cheap network card that I works with ePODs, http://www.dabs.com/products/prod-info3-info.asp?&m=y&stockcode=715-010-0030&ad=WS, for 22 quid plus VAT. Based on this I would be happy to swap three wired cards for the Silver card.  Any takers?

I've just installed the new Lucent Orinoco Silver card (in my laptop) and I can report that it is night and day better than the Linksys WPC11.

The linksys can LOSE connection just two rooms away from the Access Point (LinkSys WAP11).  In the same room the Orinoco shows FULL STRENGTH connection.  Walking round the house the Orinoco gives great service EVERYWHERE.

I'm really pleased now.  This concurs with the opinions on www.practicallynetworked.com that the LinkSys WAP11 Access Point is great but the PCMCIA card SUCKS!
