I downloaded this - I have an old Compaq PPro system. Trouble is, Smoothwall doesnt know sod all about the SCSI system it's based on- standard Compaq SCSI2, nothing fancy.

Unless any Linux bods out there know how to add these in to the system/install process ?

folks,

I've been trundling around the web looking for a freebie firewall,
[Freesco isn't a firewall, though it has on] and found Smoothwall
http://www.smoothwall.org which I've set up and is running without
any problems. A nice web amin feature (basically you can remove the
keyboard, mouse and monitor.) and I get consistant stealth results
from GRC. (going to try DSLreports now).

anyone looking for a firewall (or a use for an old PC) should take a
look. It supports ISDN/ADSL/Modem/Network cards...

Thought some of you may like it or find it useful

Andy
