Wlan

I have been looking for some Wlan cards an access point for some time and
recently found some Tellus units that seem too good to be true. Does anyone
have an opinion on them or have even heard of them? The PC card is only
£58
and the access point is £129 (inc vat) which seems far too cheap. There are
divers for 9x/nt/2k/ce/linux, it also seems to have 128b encrypt. They
don't mention Wifi at all but they do mention IEE 802.11b, are these one
and the same? I will probably get an Ap and card unless anyone can see any
flaw in them.( Phil, if they do turn out to be a bargin forget you saw
this!)

Slimp3

I recently asked Sean at Slimp3 about the possibility of a version of his
player without the display/remote for PC control only, and the answer was
yes. They are working on DHCP at the moment but this version would (Sean's
guestimate) be around $175. Whole house centrally controlled audio is one
step closer.

Here's hoping on the Wlan news
