Perfectly. All that will happen is that current sensing will not operate
but
the unit should work perfectly apart from local control which you dont want
anyway.
IF it stops the module working (which I dont believe it will otherwise they
wouldnt suggest removing it) then just put it back :-)

PS. Currently throwing a load of "useful working stuff" out
because I know
it will NEVER be used again, eg 2 Zenith 486SX33's, 1 VGA monitor (fan
cooled!) but only 640x480, several old PCB's and other stuff. Its
heartbreaking :-(
There will be some other stuff that may be useful to others which I will
post to the list later.
