Sorry about that. I did manage to download the first on the list, but
haven't tried it yet. I just searched Google for

dolby demo vob

and that was one of the results.

I also did a search on miniDVD which seems to be a way to get DVD
content on a CD. Not all players handle it and you need special
(=expensive) DVD mastering software.

I take it the Cds you made could only be played on a computer. I have
WinDVD on mine, but only stereo sound which defeats the object.

has some downloadable (S)VCD images of a THX demo with Pro-Logic. I
think that's the nearest you can get with a CD in a DVD player. The
site has some interesting stuff on surround.
