I beieve he does, uses something like an id tag and sensors in
doorways, bit pricey though.
Comfort can give you occupancy by checking the mode:
Sec off, Night and Day Mode is Occupied
Away or Holiday mode is Unnocuppied.

These modes may be checked before an auto action is executed, eg,
dont switch the heating on if in Holiday Mode, but do switch the
spinklers if on holiday.
Other ideas, flash the lights following and Intruder alarm if Not
Occupied, switch all lights on if Fire or Intruder Alarm when
Occupied.

Start a sequence of lights to operate within the house, first
Bedroom, then Landing etc, to simulate someone getting up in the nite
to investigate activity sensed in the drive, garden or house and it
is after 1AM and the mode is Away or Holiday. (all lights off 10 mins
later). This is desribed in our Applications Guide.

The PC can also be used to check for occupancy mode before execting
commands like winamp(MP3) or TTS or Wavs via Ace Web Interface (CWI).
The mind boggles with possibilities.
