Of course they're still providing you with a service rather than withdrawing it ... which is a disgustingly sneaky and backhanded way of doing business. Wonder if they'd still press you for breaking a contract if you wish to stop using their shitty service before your minimum term is up. Could you use their changing your service as justification to break a contract...

Coool!!

I've had it with B*****D Telecom tonight!!!!  About 10 attempts to connect each time - and they use some sneaky method of drawing out the normally quick ISDN connection.  It sits there for maybe 30 secs saying verifying username and password then comes back with an error.  This can take maybe 10 mins to connect.

THEN...

When you are connected the connection could last only maybe 5 mins before becoming useless!!!  You are still actually connected but there are no incoming packets so you have to dis-connect and start all over.

B*****DS!!!

I emailed their customer services tonight to cancel and the email bounced back!!!!  Bloody laughable.

Not much to tell at the moment, - in a fit of pique I just phoned AOL on the
spur of the moment, after Wendy said that a couple of her colleagues were
using them and were very happy with them...

They are now going to send me a joining pack out via snail-mail, and when I
receive that, I'll give it a trial for the 1st month and see how it goes...

Oh, and guess what?....

In the same fit of pique I went off to Watchdogs's website and had a total
rant about BT. Today I got phone calls from 2 different researchers who want
me to go along to the Studio this friday to be filmed for a follow-up
report!!!
