I'm using Jamo speakers in kitchen/breakfast room ceiling, about 7=20
inch diameter, white grill so very unobtrusive and sound good - cost=20=20
approx =A3180 for pair. However I know I could have spent a lot less=20
but the quality & power handling wouldn't have been there...
I also know there's relatively little choice for specialist ceiling=20
speakers so, for the same quality, you're probably spending more than=20
on a set of bookshelf speakers. Sorry no experience of using car=20
audio speakers but I reckon its worth a try..
Nick=20
