win tv primo is the answer, comes with an IR receiver and an fm radio

the .ini can be modified so the remote control can operate other
applications (including showshifter, winamp, or my favourite download
www.musicmatch.com ) costs around £59-00 the nicam version is about
£15-00
extra

www.scan.co.uk sometimes have them on the daily specials

I am going to get a TV card soon, and need some advice.

I really want it to work with Showshifter, is there a compatibility list?
Also, possibly work with linux, (hopefully).
Definately have IR, or even better, and IRDA reciever, or both,
then I can connect my nok 6210 up to it, and I can control it with
a remote control, I also want the remote, to be able to control other
aspects of the computer, eg , run programs, macros, mouse movement, etc...

All suggestions welcome,

thanks.
steve
