I use a ASEL video switcher that I have mounted in a rack with the
picture/sound and power travelling via CAT5 cables.

I cut the cables off the CCTV cameras and fitted RJ45 connectors.

I then switch one AP on which fires up all my CCTV system which is in turn
connected to my server via composite then using a small VB program I switch
between each camera.

I have space for either 8 cameras with sound or 16 cameras, and the ASEL
cards can be daisy chained together up to 16 total (?).
