Sorry,
but have to disagree with the ILLEGAL aspect - I've enquired about this
before
and it's only illegal on the public highway.
I
do,
however, agree that it is dangerous and risky from a theft perspective.
That's
why I mentioned in another post the Clifford Smartstart. With this, the car
remains locked with the alarm armed and there are no keys in the ignition.
Also,
if you try to drive the car away without disarming the alarm and putting
the key
in the ignition, it cuts out as soon as you attempt to drive away. It's a
cool
device, very safe (as long as you don't fit it to a
manual).
