Snow & Ice WAS Re: Toilet Flushes

It all started when I wanted Misterhouse to warn me of frost, or the
possibility of frost in a morning before Vicky sets off to work. I also
wanted to detect snow or when the temperature was in danger of freezing the
pipes.

This reminded me of a website I saw a while ago that counted all sorts of
stuff, including toilet flushes. Since this was a fairly comical thing I
used
that as an example hpoing others would remember it as I have :-)

I have been looking at ePanorama for circuits, and I found a few water
ones,
hopefully there will be some snow & ice ones too.

What I had thought of was a dual device that detected water (ie the snow)
and
weight (the weight of the snow, being submerged in water wouldn't be enough
weight to trip the switch)
