I got it working fine with the Buffalo card; all I had to do was select
my AP from the list that XP scanned and discovered (only one entry, not
exactly rocket science, but it is on a non standard channel which XP
worked out on its own). XP did it all out of the box without installing
any other software. I wouldn't download anything else if I were you.
Keep at it it is worth it.

cards.
Has anyone got this working?
Windows XP detects the wireless LAN card and installs the drivers for it
but then declares it as disconnected ... the ORiNOCO setup software
can't see the card and says there are no drivers installed but WinXP
says the device is working fine.
Definite downer here as otherwise XP seems pretty good on the laptop ...
sleeps quickly and resumes as soon as you open the screen!
