Another part on/part off topic post I guess but hopefully less volatile
than
recent discussions :)

I want to create a custom "interface" for the HA PC. I am not
really keen on
the generally available "agents" available so when building the
PC I named
it Holly (after the computer in Red Dwarf) with it's backup named Hilly
(his
girlfriend IIRC). Anyway, I forget the girl's name that played Holly after
the sex change but ideally I want to build some kind of agent based around
her. Open the door to Node 0 and have her sitting in the middle of the
screen kind of thing and maybe even appearing on the TVs around the house
for announcements. Hopefully I can grab enough of her voice from the
series
to create a reasonable voice system with some odd as is quotes for strange
events.

I know... it's sad ... but it is different and I have no plans to deck the
house out like Red Dwarf or whatever the little green ship was called
(Starbug?) so I am not beyond hope :)

I appreciate such a system would be unlikely to work with the MS Agent
system which has it's own selection of voices but programming an custom
system is of no great concern since I also want it to sit on a black screen
rather than overlaid like Agent. Burn in, yeah possibly a problem, but one
I
will worry about if I manage to get the system up and running.

The immediate problem is creating the graphic. I am no artist so modelling
the head is beyond me. So I was wondering if there was an agent that was
basically just a head that I could "retexture" with an
appropriate graphic.
Alternatively, anyone who know of any decent head models floating around on
the net that might suffice? I just need a head with a kind of bob haircut
and sufficient facial detail to be able to give it basic expressions
through
vertex animation.

Mark.
