I have it working, but my wireless card is a built in one, not a pcmcia
one,
so not sure if I can be of any help.

I wouldn't let the orinocco drivers near it, as the default XP ones seem to
be fine. ( Unless they are newer XP drivers from Lucent)

If XP says the drivers are installed and working fine, I would assume it is
a setup issue, either access/security, or dhcp/ip subnet or something
similar.
