the Kenlowe preheaters have only been around for a couple of years and are
still
available.
Check
out the Land Rover mags for adverts - that's where they seem particularly
popular (can't imagine why!)

the
norm and the overnight electricity usage would be less than the fuel
consumed
in the first minutes of running.
