Dan, try this model, from the same site...
3108 - Serial Port Isolated Input/Output Controller
I have one of these, slightly more expensive at £70, but I can confirm that
it most certainly does have latching operation... (and £70 is still a LOT
cheaper than 8 X10 modules!)
