I'm sure....but these are no AAA, they are
Lithium cells. I wouldn't expect something radio controlled at just
30quid to come with a set of batteries that retail at over a tenner.

As someone who has investigated buying
batteries in bulk to supply with
OEM gear I can assure you that the manufacturer wouldn't pay that.
ISTR we were paying about 10 cents for a pair of AAAs!
When you buy batteries you are paying for the brand name.
