I would recommend you don't do this. All it needs is someone to plug
something other than a lamp into the extension cord and you have problems.
Depending on the extension used you might run into reliability problems as
well since a number of them seem to filter X10 signals these days.

If you want to run both off one module, I suggest you wire both into one
plug. You can buy specific plugs designed for wiring multiple devices if
you
find space is a bit tight in the standard plug.

Also check the total rating for both lamps is within the range supported by
the module.
