I am thinking of having two uplighters at the back of my living room - is it safe/recommended to plug both of these into a single X10 lamp module (using an extension power cord)?  I want to be able to control the brightness of them as if they were one and I already have a lamp module lying around.

Thanks,
-Dan

Subject: [ukha_d] HAI RC-80 OmniStat Thermostat?

Hi All
I am looking for a programmable thermostat for use with homeseer. I know Letsautomate do the X-10 one for £264 but I was wondering if any one had experience of a HAI RC-80 OmniStat Thermostat ?

http://www.homecontrols.com/ are selling these for $140 . The only thing that is confusing me is that the blurb says it is Compatible with systems using 24 volt (20 to 30 V) AC or DC controls, yet homecontrols website has a "230V ac available" sign next to them. I have e-mailed homecontrols but I was just wondering if anyone here knew anything about them.

Thanks
Mark Hopley
