Guys, I have a couple of Philips 13w energy efficient lamp bulbs.

They are the bayonet connection types designed to take the place of
incandescent lamp bulbs.

The question, is it safe/possible to use lamp modules for controlling them?

I know they are not dimmable which is not a problem it is just that I have
loads of the lamp modules spare and only a few appliance modules, and these
are for the Meerkat shed.

I remember something about the dimmers stripping a part of the sine wave
off
and therefore should not be used for fluorescent lamps but can they still
be
used?

TIA,

B.
