It is a "beta" still Justin.
It is now a serial device. It should be offered
bundled with a USB to Serial converter too. I will be testing
it under Win XP Pro.
It is Tx and Rx in one unit, and it is no
longer
machine dependant (that is it doesn't suffer from timing issues of old one
meaning you can use signals learnt on one computer on another). Concept
plan
to start a download library of learnt codes too. Now...if someone
could
come up with a Pronto-Concept conversion tool that WOULD be
nice!
Concept hope to have the unit supported by
both
ShowShifter and HomeSeer
Latest planed prices I have are £59
(or
£99 with USB converter). I think Concept plan to offer discount to
upgraders too.

Is
the Concept IR transceiver a pre-release version as I can't find it on
their
site.
Does it still use a parallel interface?
Justin.
Yesterday was a good day. I received 3 different items to
review.
The "CryptoCam" (pictured), the new "BX24-AHT" X10 All
Housecode Transceiver and the new Concept Devices IR
Transceiver.
Keep an eye on the site for these review over the
coming weeks.
