You can buy the IA-1 for a more reasonable price only if you agree to subscribe to Microsoft's MSN Internet service. Sign up for 36 months of MSN at $21.95 per month, and Microsoft will mail you a check for $400 ($200 for 24 months; $100 for 12 months). The MSN rebate program applies to other Windows-based computers as well.
