Have done a quick and dirty comparison
for
you:
I don't have my receipt with me for
the Visionic system (will get the exact costs for that this evening) but it
was
about £500 for:
Main unit, 2 keyfobs, 1 panic button,
6
K980 PIRs (dog immune), 1 non pet immune PIR, 1 magnetic door sensor and 1
smoke detector
In addition to this was the XM10U
mains
interface (£30) external siren (any will do £20) and cable
(£15)
So grand total say around £565 from
memory
(will double check)
Equivalent comfort system would have
been.
Comfort Main unit
£351.33
mains interface
£30
Software kit
£108
Lead Acid battery
£19
External siren
£20
Additional keypad for exit point (no
key
fob equivalent)
£65
7 x Pet Immune PIR
£23.5
Smoke detector
£30
Total ~
£790
Comfort in my view is the winner if
you
are starting from scratch, retro fitting if you don't want the hassle
with all the wiring or don't need the complexity Visonic wins with
me.
