Subject: [ukha_d] Historic message

Hi All,

This is an historic message.

I am typing this using a BTC 5113 IR Keyboard.

Nothing special about that I hear you say......BUT....

The PC is in the bedroom, I am in the lounge, I am viewing the S-
Video output of my ATI Rage Fury on my TV whilst listening to my MP3
jukebox hosted on the same machine.

I am having absolutely no trouble typing or using the mouse buttons
and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the picture or sound.

Why is this historic ????

Because it is over A SINGLE CAT5 CABLE using a modified KAT5 receiver.

The man from DIYHA, he say YES :-)))

I am about 9 feet from the screen and IR receiver. If I get any
further away I cant read the text coz my eyes are getting worse (old
age catching up with me)

Just tried getting as far away as I ca physically get without loosing
sight of the IR receiver which is about 15 feet and it still works.

YIPPEE !!!!!  :-)

Keith
