Do not skimp on the cable that you use for the extension ... I have some
ready made 1.5m leads that I can daisy chain 3 and there's no noticeable
smearing at 1,600 x 1,200 but I have some that are so thin and cheap that
even one at 1,600 x 1,200 is unuseable!
