Hi Richard

You need to make sure the leads are exactly the same length (within a few
millimetres) or the image will be misaligned. If the H or V leads are
longer/shorter than the rest the whole images will be shifted slightly
up/down/left/right but you can adjust that with the position controls. If
the RGB leads vary in length the picture will be misconverged.

Although it is expensive, the 5 core VGA coax gives excellent results. The
"mini" version is only about 15mm in diameter and is quite
flexible.
