Hi Stuart,

It might not be as simple as that. If it was a mono mic and was=20
connected by two wires to 3&5 with the screen independantly on 2
then=20
it could be a balanced MIC input and as such would not be suitable=20
for direct connection of a line input.

DIN to 4 phono leads are really common and you can also get SCART -=20
Phono adaptors.

Do you have a booklet with any tech info you can scan and email to me?

Let me know and I will suggest a "proper" fix.
