No, seriously, I've not used an in-car sat nav system for over twelve
months, but I've never encountered _any_ that knew about Uxbridge as a
destination. Not BMW or any Phillips Carin-based system. You select U and
it
'greys out' the X! Things may have improved recently, though. After all,
the
maps are CD based so it shouldn't be a major problem. Give yours a try next
time you're in the car and let us know.

Hmm. Not as fast as a proper knob though - though when you're counting
pulses you have to watch that they don't come too fast for the controller.
Turn-and-push would definitely provide a slicker interface.
There you go, that's another 2p worth.
