This I know nothing about, probably  ok but not brilliant..

Yes, you can have two different images (with optimal sizes and scan
frequencies to each), or show the same, but then your monitor picture is
limited to what you want your TV pricture to be (800X600 may be too much,
page frequency 60Hz (if your tv can take it..)

In practice, poor (at least on my tv.) Low res is ok (brilliant for Diablo
II!) are OK, but using it as a main display, forget it (unless your needs
are simple and you have a very good TV, I guess)

Drivers OK, the multimedia suite (from ATI's webpages) seem to enjoy
crashing the machine..  Showshifter works like a charm
