I concur with Phil and Mark, if I really, really have to see a movie then
I'll go to the cinema, but not if I can help it!

In the house I have better sound out a DSP-A1 and a set of M&K speakers
than
the local Odeon that was only put up two years ago! I can stop the movie
when I like, get a coffee, have a drink etc., it's great and I don't think
I
could live without it now, also I get full 6.1 Dolby Digital and 6.1 DTS,
show me the cinema with those options.

pictures?

No ... we have a five year old who cannot sit through a film without
constantly querying everything that happens. This tends to annoy
cinemagoers.

I'm 6'3" tall and probably about 220lbs ... cinema seats are not made
for
people my size. I hate sticky carpets, sweets stuck to seats and people who
think it's OK to chat away while the film is on or decide that it's a hoot
to throw popcorn at each other.

At home I have a 72inch wide screen, I can watch what I want, when I want.
I
could have a beer while I watch, can stop the movie part way through if I
want a pee/drink/snack. It even sounds better than my local fleapit!

Phil
