I've used mine for all sorts of things but it is horses for courses , don't expect to start and finish a job just with it

A small hand file is always usefull

If you have spare cash get one but don't expect some of the bits to outlast one job

I think I would need to have a demo first to assess the
usefulness/practicality before committing.  It would certainly make jobs
like tiling, wall papering (not that I would want wall paper), stud wall
construction, cable trunking much easier.
