Phil

There is nothing sane about the Kawasaki! It is a fire breathing monster
producing 65 horse power, weighs less than 100 kilos and does 0 to 60 in 3
seconds in a ploughed field. However ---- you will be in a field without a
car or bus in sight and the bike bounces quite well. As I said before
though, you will be in for a shock and maybe the odd bruise!!

As for Blades and the like. Don't forget its the rider that makes a bike
fast on the track. As you saw on Saturday, even after a 5 year break there
wern't many people faster that I was at Pembrey and they were all racers.
It's nice beating R1's and GSXR 1000's on my 7 year old YZF750SP even if it
did eat a rear tyre in 100 miles!

Apologies to thise waiting for IR news but I have been sidetracked by my
new
bike. I am back on the case now and it's back to the workshop tonight.

Ian

I used to go to Box Hill when I was a youngster!

Yeah ... I have absolutely no inclination to ride on the roads. I see too
many motorists changing lanes in front of bikes that they haven't seen (and
too many bikes taking the p*ss and weaving through traffic) to even fancy
trying it. Do fancy the idea of a usefull tool to have some fun with.
Anyway
... the guy at work is n no rush to sell and one of our bretheren has told
me that I can have a play on one of his "saner" bikes first ...
I'll run a
couple of pictures up to the group files area at some point soon and you
can
have a go at guessing who it is!
