I downloaded and installed misterhouse last night to get a feel for it. It
has
both a WEB interface and its own console interface both of which have their
strengths and weaknesses as per Patrick's comments.
It does have the benefit of getting things off the ground quickly and with
X10, Ibutton and I think 1 Wire interfacing already at least partly there
so
it provides a base to build from.
The less said about the VR and TTS the better although it does just use
external calls for this so more sophisticated VR engines could be used in
the
future.
All in all I quite liked it...it has a 'work in progress' feel to it so
anyone
who is looking for a shiny shrinkwrap should look elsewhere. I will
definitley
being having a play with it over the next few weeks.
