Just got back in and I am setting up the auto archive features
for "The project", To make it work I am going to use two lists.
Please start the subject line of your posts with either [project] or
[development] please use the square brackets. Mark perhaps you could
make a note in the ukha_d home page on ukha_d
[Project] - This is for general comments about the project, including
general ideas, possable projects, news items etc
[Development] - This is for people working on the project and others
replying to them. This tread will be dealing with the actual workings
of the project, code details, documentation, work requests etc.
To try and make the archives as usefull as possable to the people
developing the project please change the subject line and remove the
keyword if the thread wanders of topic, and if a topic develops into
a project related discussion please add the keyword.
Please also try to delete any unnecessary quoted parts to the
previous message when replying, this will help with when any aspect
needs to be documented, as the posts will be concise.
I will come back later with the names of the lists we are using.
Please Please Please do not subscribe to the lists these are of
archive use only. Post all project related messages on ukha_d using
the keywords above.
If it works I will post instructions to ukha_d every month as a
reminder and to help new users.
John.
PS. I have had to lend my PC with outlook on it to a customer, so I
am not in a position to repost the traffic which was important to the
topic which has been posted on habuy could I have a volunteer to
compile the posts and repost to ukha_d AFTER i have set up the
archive.
John.
