Unfortunately I still have no good news to report as Dell are not
responding
to my voice and email messages. Specifically the guy I have been dealing
with has not contacted me despite me leaving at least one voice message and
one email message every day this week. I just tried to leave a message
tonight and his voice mail box is now full. This suggests that he is on
holiday or off sick, either way, when he returns I hope he will contact me
and we can process the order.
As I have said before, I don't want to deal with anyone else at Dell if I
can avoid it, because they will start negotiating from the $199 price
whereas I can plead ignorance with my original contact. I can guarantee
that
I will not agree to any price from Dell that exceeds $149 per unit without
coming back to this group and I will return anyone's payment if they decide
not to go ahead at another price. For now please hang in there, we haven't
lost any money and we still have a chance to pull this off at what is now
an
even bigger bargain price.
