Re: VGA monitor/keyboard switch

Do you have problems if the machine is powered up while not selected at the
switch (keyboard errors).
I currently have two PC's sharing a monitor (HomeSeer and my day to day
PC).
The HomeSeer PC has its own keyboard (no mouse) and I swap the monitor lead
when I need it (not very often, only on boot failure). I'm planning on
installing another PC at the same location to act as MP3 server. I'd then
like to upgrade the solution, but don't want the Homeseer machine to fail
on
restart after power failure because there's no keyboard! The switch is
likely to be left on my PC 99% of the time.

Thanks for the part no, and I found a 4 way one for about 20 quid on DABS
as
well.

HOWEVER Inmac have the omnicube for 80 quid.

Given that cables are going to be 40/50 quid anyway is it false economy to
buy the cheap one?
