Dr John, Vince,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you, meetings all afternoon... I
think I'll probably just accept the messages then trash them.. shame
though I'd like to have bounced them... I can't face notifying all the
people that should have my email address of a change so I don't think I'll
create a new one... although it's a good idea and I'll implement it for
other stuff now...

Thanks again, and Vice thanks for the offer of telephone support :-))

Not easy.... Impossible

You can bounce it if the to address can be isolated so if the message is
sent to a individual who does not receive any other mail, I think this is
very unlikely.

MDaemon can ditch the mail in several ways:-
Setup -> content filter -> Add new rule.
or
Setup ->DomainPop -> Routing rules -> delete mail
or
change the name you use, I know this sounds daft but a common trick if you
have a mail server (several people on the habuy list have done this).
Basically you use a name like habuy@mydomain this meant that you can
easily
decide what to do and how to store the messages, it also means that if you
select in mdaemon to reject unknown addresses all you have to do is delete
the user and the mail automatically gets bounced

I know the answer is not exactly what you want but it is the best I can
think of.

John
