Really? I'm really impressed with what my Pronto (and Sky Digi remote as
well
actually) seems to me able to send IR "through".
I hardly ever pick it up and give it a clear line of sight to the TV, it
must
bouce off my walls really well.
Are some colours of wall better for reflecting IR, in a similar fashion to
white being better at reflecting heat?
