Li,
They have two versions, the manual one at £115 and an electronic one at
about £175, I bought the manual ones simply because I intend to control
them
using a couple of appliance modules and I already know the house temp
anyway
;o) See what I mean about a silly price, I was quoted £300 for a similar
Chinese unit from a supplier.
They are on a half price sale the only drawback being that they are
portable
units that need external venting via a window or a hole in the wall, but
with a little modification I reckon I can cool about five or six rooms with
these. Really I wanted a full on split system but that would cost in excess
of a grand easily.

What type of aircon this AEG is please and, if I may ask, what price was
it? We bought an Electrolux EBM-1200T from Currys (in Northern Ireland
when I was there visiting the in-laws) a couple of years ago and it was
brilliant. Tried to buy a couple more in London but was told that it was
no longer available.
Today was just the weather for aircons!
