Although the Red Care is disconnected from the line it is still being
polled
from the exchange, this is the beep you can hear. When working correctly
the
exchange will sense when the line is being used and suspend the polling to
prevent annoyance. If the Red Care is not being reconnected you need to ask
the alarm installer to instruct their Alarm Receiving Center to request BT
to terminate the contract.
