As promised - a quick update.
My mate DID order the StarSpeeder internet access and now has it installed.
129 quid for dish and card plus 15 quid a month sub.
He has it up and running and uses it mainly for Napster. The service is
un-capped at present and he's had up to 110K a second! It will be capped
to
40K a sec in the future though.
As has already been pointed out you still need a UP connection via modem or
ISDN and ping times are too big for gaming etc. But if you need fast
downloads and have no cable or ADSL this might be an answer.
