When I first had the opportunity of telephone banking, there was no limit
on
how far in advance you could schedule a payment (it was a trial at the time
and is now limited to 30 days). So when I needed to by a new fridge (now
used for beer) I went down to my local Comet (or was it Currys) and bought
a
fridge on 6 months interest free credit. Whe I got home I called the bank
and said could you pay this bill in 182 days time please, no problem they
said. And sure enough the day before I accrued interest the bill was paid
in
full!

Graham

P.S. Lets all go down to our local PC Worlds and snap away with digital
cameras, that is one place I wouldn't mind being banned from at all (for
reasons that Paul has so eloquently expressed).
