I thought I'd found the perfect camera for CCTV at CPC - it's an AEI
weatherproof unit, 380 lines 0.05 lux, IR illumination, PIR and audio,
all for 100 notes, and comes with psu, scart adaptor, bleeper, etc. Even
does scart switching.
It's order code SR01613/SR01619 on page 1395 of the 2001 catalogue. But
in case anyone else is interested, I wouldn't bother - they've put a
sticker on the box and helpfully upgraded it to a colour camera. Lovely,
you may think, but the downside is that it now only does 330 lines, has
no IR illuminator, and minimum light sensitivity is up to 3 lux.
Happily though, the guy at AEI says they still have some of the original
models, and he's getting back to me with pricing and availability, so if
