Having placed my order with Scan for the SoHo network kit and a 64MB smart
media
card last Friday, I'd hoped to have received them by now.
Having not arrived, and with their on-line tracking database 'being
updated' (ie
broke), I decided to ring. A mere 25 minutes later telephone muppet #1
explains
that they are out of stock on the SoHo kit. I explain that it says, in
bold
letters, that everything on this page (today only) is ALWAYS IN STOCK. He
has
no answers, so I'm passed onto muppet #2, who explains that the statement
'always in stock' refers to the stock levels at the start of day, and does
not
imply that the items are actually always in stock. Silly me.
At least the p&p is reasonable. Not.
Ok winge over - I feel (a bit) better now.
Pete
