Can you use electronic Dimmable transformers?
I have tested it today with 2 LV halogens in parallel and they worked fine.
My concern is that Mike's page said something about electronic trannies
lock
up X-10.
Anyone able to expand on that?
Regards
Steve

As far as I know, yes as long as there is no transformer that is not
electronic.
See http://www.letsautomate.com/lvlights.htm
for some info on the subject.

Sorry for asking such a basic question, but can 230v Halogen lights be used
with LD11 din rail dimmers. I hadn't planned on using any halogens in my
new house, but my wife has decided she now wants recessed lights in the
hallway. I know there are ways around using the low voltage halogens, but
to be honest, I don't want to mess about changing transformers etc, so the
230v halogens are my only option. Also if they can be used, are these kind
of lights dimmable ?
Thanks,
Eamon
