Thanks for everyone's help I shall try the clipsal range and have a look at
the MK catalogue.

I have the MK catalogue and they certainly have a wide selection of
finishes
(for the plates) but all switches are the same using their grid system. I
personally don't find these very attractive (aluminium plate with white
switch looks rather industrial), also all switches are rectangular. I went
for the clipsal range, they have up to five round switches in a single gang
and I am prety sure they do coloured ranges, though I'm not sure about
aluminum. They have pictures of everything on their site. My switches are
code 30MBPR but you have to specify 'unmarked' if you want them to come
without the word 'press' on them.
